Iowa City police investigating robbery

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police are investigating a robbery early Monday.

According to a news release, a man told police he had been assaulted by three men who demanded money. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash or property.

The man told police all three men appeared to be in their early 20s and were wearing dark clothing.

The incident happened in the 300 block of East Court Street around 2:25 a.m. Police are asking residents who live in area to review their camera footage and contact police if they find something that might be relevant.
