Iowa City police find meth on passed-out woman

IOWA CITY - Police said they found meth on a woman passed out in a running vehicle.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Amy L. Green, of Iowa City, was found passed out in a running vehicle just after 9 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of South Dubuque Street. Police said a K9 alerted on the vehicle and a search turned up meth, needles and a pipe. An unmarked pill bottle with an unknown prescription pill was also found in the vehicle.
Green was arrested and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony; unlawful possession of a prescription drug, a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
