Iowa City man arrested after armed robbery at Walgreens

IOWA CITY - An Iowa City man is accused of robbing a Walgreens.
According to an Iowa City police criminal complaint, at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 17, 18-year-old Hunter D. Lank, entered the Walgreens at 2214 Muscatine Ave. in Iowa City armed with a gun. Police said Lank demanded cash and pointed the gun at an employee while telling them to put money in a bag.
Police said Lank admitted to committing the robbery and told police he needed money to help a friend. He was arrested and faces one count of first-degree robbery, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
