CORALVILLE - A Coralville man is accused of assaulting a dependent adult.
According to a Coralville Police criminal complaint, on Oct. 26, 2014, 41-year-old Francis K. Njoroge was employed by Systems Unlimited and assigned to the victim for a trip to the park. Systems Unlimited offers a wide variety of services for dependent children and adults.
Police said while Njoroge and the victim were traveling to the park in a van, Njoroge became annoyed with the victim and punched the victim in the face twice. The victim responded by biting Njoroge in the right forearm and hand, causing Njoroge to hit the victim again.
The victim suffered from abrasions and bruising, police said.
