Iowa City Community Police Review Board to host annual forum in April

IOWA CITY - The Iowa City Community Police Review Board is scheduled to host its annual community forum next month.

The forum is scheduled for 6 p.m. on April 23 in Meeting Room A at the Iowa City Public Library. Participants will be able to hear views on police department policies, practices and procedures and submit questions and comments. Iowa City Police Chief Jody Matherly and Downtown Liaison Officer Colin Fowler are scheduled to attend and meet with participants.

Anyone who wants to submit a question or comment should do so by April 9. Questions and comments can be submitted to christine-olney@iowa-city.org or mailed to the Community Police Review Board at Iowa City Hall, 410 E. Washington St. The board will attempt to address all questions and comments received.

The forum will later be broadcast on City Channel 4.
