Coralville woman arrested in connection with December robbery

CORALVILLE - A Coralville woman has been arrested for her alleged role in a December robbery.
According to Coralville police criminal complaints, around 11:40 p.m. Dec. 26, 2017, the victim in this case heard a knock on his door in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue. Police said the victim asked who was at the door and he heard someone say 'Mariah.”
Police said the victim and 21-year-old Mariah D. Arneson are friends, so he answered the door. Authorities said Arneson and three other people wearing masks were at the door. One of the suspects grabbed the victim by the throat and forced him to the floor, police said. The victim was hit in the head with a handgun.
Authorities said the victim's 11-year-old son was also forced to the floor. Arneson and the three other suspects stole cash and other items from the residence, police said.
Arneson has been arrested and faces one count of first-degree robbery, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
