Cedar Rapids police find meth lab after traffic stop

CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids police said they discovered the remnants of a mobile meth lab after a traffic stop Monday afternoon.
According to police, officers stopped 35-year-old Jonathan P. Soucie at 4 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of 16th Street NE after he was observed committing a traffic violation. Police said while searching Soucie's vehicle, they found what was left of a meth lab.
Soucie was arrested and faces one count of manufacturing a controlled substance.
Various supplies used to make methamphetamine. These supplies were confiscated in Linn County within the last few years.
