A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Friday on a charge of first-degree burglary.
Matthew Clark, 22, is accused of breaking and entering an apartment with the intent to commit an assault on April 25, according to a criminal complaint.
Clark also is charged with assault causing bodily injury and harassment. He has repeatedly harassed and attacked a Cedar Rapids man who lives in the apartment that Clark broke into, according to criminal complaints. He reportedly called and texted several threatening messages and asked for money.
On April 19, Clark ran up behind the man and pushed him, causing him to fall, leading to scrapes on his hands and knees.
Clark is being held in the Linn County Correctional Center and had his initial appearance Saturday. He is being held on multiple cash-only bonds totaling $60,500.
