7-year-old airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after being hit by vehicle

KALONA - A 7-year-old child riding a bike was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Wednesday afternoon after they were hit by a vehicle.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 42-year-old Lynette Wilson, of New London, was eastbound on Highway 22 in Kalona when she collided with a 7-year-old child crossing the highway on their bike.
The child is not identified in the crash report. The crash remains under investigation.
