Cedar Rapids Washington is the state's top-ranked Class 2A girls’ tennis team entering regional tournament play, which begins Saturday with quarterfinal round play.

There are four classifications in Iowa high school boys’ soccer for the first time this season, meaning an additional eight state tournament qualifiers for a total of 32. Tuesday, the substate brackets to determine those 32 qualifiers were released by the IHSAA.
