An early morning accident in Cedar Rapids killed two on Sunday after a car spun out of control and collided with an oncoming SUV. In addition to the deaths, three others were injured.

Witnesses told police the vehicle crossed several lanes of traffic on I-380 northbound, before striking a guardrail and rolling. The sole occupant was declared dead at the scene.
