Take a peek at this week’s Iowa high school football schedule and you might think the postseason has already started. It’s a stacked slate across the state. Here’s who all 73 teams ranked in this week’s Gazette poll face.

Underwood’s Jack Vanfossan stymied Cascade batters and the Eagles’ leadoff batter Mason Boothby accounted for two runs in a 3-1 victory over the No. 7 Cougars in a Class 2A state baseball semifinal Thursday at Merchants Park in Carroll.
