Navigator, a Texas-based company, is proposing a 1,300-mile pipeline that would pass through 36 Iowa counties, including Linn, Benton, Cedar, Delaware and Iowa, capturing carbon dioxide at ethanol and fertilizer plants and transporting the liquid form of the gas to a sequestration site in western Illinois.
