Under a spate of laws proposed or passed in at least 10 states including Iowa, elections administrators could see criminal charges and penalties that levy thousands of dollars in fines or even prison time for technical infractions of election statutes.

Rep. Ashley Hinson has announced the endorsements of more than 550 grassroots supporters from all 22 counties of the new 2nd District that covers northeast Iowa.

The Grassley Works campaign has $4,600,001 cash on hand, according to Federal Election Commission first quarter reports. His three Democratic challengers have a combined $1,831,396 in their treasuries.

In endorsing Sen. Grassley, Stefanik noted his efforts since 2019 to uncover “deeply troubling financial entanglements of the Biden family and the communist Chinese regime” involving President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and brother, James Biden.

Finkenauer will ask the Iowa Supreme Court to reverse a Sunday night ruling by a Polk County District Court judge that she did not submit enough signatures on nomination petitions to qualify for the Democratic primary, preventing her from facing likely GOP nominee U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley in the November general election.
