The Iowa high school state baseball tournament semifinals continued Friday at Principal Park in Des Moines with Class 3A and Class 4A in action.

CLASS 3A SEMIFINALS
No. 6 Gilbert 14, No. 4 Dallas Center-Grimes 7
Gilbert (23-3) tallied nine runs in the fifth inning and tacked on four more in the sixth to erase a 4-1 deficit and advance to the 3A title game.
DCG (18-4) used a three-run fourth to take the lead, but the Tigers responded with a big inning that featured six hits and two errors. Owen Blumhagen's two-RBI double tied the score and Spencer Clatt's two-run single gave Gilbert the lead. Nick Chasey later crushed a bases-clearing double. Eli Eldred added an RBI triple in the sixth.
Norwalk 10, Marion 0 (6 innings)
Tyler Wegner and Cael Eck drove in three runs apiece as Norwalk (19-5) ended Marion's postseason run in the state semifinals.
The Warriors jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second inning, as Wegner ripped a bases-clearing double down the first-base line and later raced home on a double steal. Nate Lane added an RBI single. Eck crushed a double off the wall with the bases loaded in the fifth to add three more runs.

CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS
No. 2 Ankeny 9, No. 4 Dubuque Hempstead 8
Dylan Schlee led off the bottom off the seventh with a double and pinch runner Ryan Madole moved to third on a Lucas Juhl sacrifice bunt and scored on a wild pitch to send Ankeny (21-8) to the 4A title game.
The Hawks grabbed a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first, but Hempstead (16-2) responded with four in the top of the second and took an 8-7 lead with four more in the third. Ankeny tied it in the fourth when Jase Bauer led off with a triple and scored on Mo Watson's RBI single. Bauer was 3-for-3 and scored three runs. Watson went 3-for-4 and had two RBIs.
Schlee pitched six innings of relief, allowing six hits and three earned runs while striking out seven and walking none.
No. 1 Johnston 3, No. 3 Urbandale 1
Johnston (23-3) ensured there will be a new champion in Class 4A by knocking out 2018 and 2019 winner Urbandale (18-10) in a rematch of last year's final.
The Dragons struck first in the bottom of the first when Wilmes led off with a single and Steck followed with an RBI triple. Steck later scored on an error. Swansen added an RBI double in the fifth.
The J-Hawks drew six walks and matched Johnston with five hits, but left 10 runners on base, including the bases loaded in the first.
