Police say Iowa City woman bit, robbed another woman

An Iowa City woman faces a second-degree robbery charge after allegedly biting a woman and stealing cash from her.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, Iowa City police responded to the 1100 block of Gilbert Court for a report of a fight in progress. Responding officers learned that 50-year-old Dwana R. Miller had bitten a woman and stole $65 from her. Miller left on foot and was followed by two witnesses, police said.
Police located Miller, who was positively identified by the victim as her assailant.
Second-degree robbery is a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
