Second woman arrested in Iowa City shooting incident that hurt two men

Iowa City police have arrested a second woman in connection with the shooting of two men early Saturday in downtown Iowa City.
According to an updated news release, Lindsay A. Beyer, 24, of Iowa City, was arrested Wednesday and charged with acting as an accessory to a felony, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Earlier this week, Arielle Nichol Grier, 24, of Iowa City was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of reckless use of a firearm with serious injury.
According to criminal complaints and a news release from police, officers responded to a report of gunshots at the 300 block of East Court Street near the intersection of Gilbert Street about 1:54 a.m. Saturday. Police found two men who had been shot, one at that location and another a block away. They were transported to a hospital with wounds that were not life-threatening, police said.
