Two Cedar Rapids men charged with second-degree robbery

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two Cedar Rapids men face charges after a robbery Wednesday afternoon.
According to Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow, officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery at 1234 Fourth Ave. SE at 5:51 p.m. Thursday. Police said the two suspects stole cash, a wallet and a cellphone from the victim.
After broadcasting descriptions of the suspects, a Linn County sheriff's deputy spotted the two men at the Casey's on First Avenue and 12th Street SE.
The suspects - identified as 23-year-old Tyson T. Marshall and 18-year-old Thomas D.A. Vesey - were questioned. Police said the two men and the victim know each other.
As a result of their investigation, police arrested Marshall and Vesey. They were arrested and face charges of second-degree robbery.
