Police: Man tried to sneak booze, Ecstasy into Kinnick Stadium

IOWA CITY - A Des Moines man is accused of trying to sneak alcohol and drugs into Kinnick Stadium.

According to University of Iowa Department of Public Safety criminal complaints, 24-year-old Tanner S. Setka was stopped walking through Gate I at Kinnick Stadium around 2 p.m. Saturday when an officer spotted an odd shape in his back pocket. Police asked to see what Setka was carrying and he pulled out a small bottle of Jagermeister. When the officer asked to see Setka's ticket, he dropped a pill capsule containing a powder. Police said that powder later tested positive for Ecstasy.

Setka was arrested. While he was being searched, Setka admitted to having THC wax on him. THC is the active ingredient in marijuana.

Setka faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; and public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.
