Police: Cedar Rapids man pawned $3,400 worth of library DVDs

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of pawning more than $3,400 worth of DVDs taken from the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint, 46-year-old Gary L. Driscoll came into possession of DVDs belonging to the Cedar Rapids Public Library. Those DVDs were valued at $3,427.40, according to the criminal complaint.
Police said Driscoll pawned the DVDs at EZ Pawn in Cedar Rapids. He has been charged with one count of second-degree theft.
