Shooting reported overnight in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids police are investigating an overnight shooting.
Public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said police responded to a report of shots fired at 11:59 p.m. Thursday at 609 Fourth St. SW. Responding officers discovered a damaged vehicle and a single gun casing.
No injuries were reported, Buelow said. The case remains under investigation.
