Motorcyclist killed in northeast Cedar Rapids crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Cedar Rapids Tuesday evening.
According to the Cedar Rapids Police Department, a vehicle traveling southbound on Center Point Road NE hit a motorcycle while in the intersection of 32nd Street NE around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the driver of the motorcycle - whose identity has not been released - was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
