CEDAR RAPIDS - Police said no one was seriously injured when a FedEx truck hit a tree Thursday morning.
Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said the driver, Younouss Fall, was westbound on First Avenue heading toward downtown when they lost control and hit a tree near 27th Street around 9:30 a.m. Buelow said Fall was not seriously injured and declined an ambulance.
Buelow said the delivery truck was the only vehicle involved, there were no other injuries and Fall will not face any citations.
