Three face meth-related charges in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two people face drug-related charges after police broke up a meth making operation in Cedar Rapids Tuesday morning.
According to Cedar Rapids police, officers found a confirmed meth lab inside a manufactured home at 2405 Carlsbad St. SW around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. As a result of their investigation, police made two arrests.
Korey A. Sawma, 25, of Cedar Rapids; and 20-year-old Kali Eicholtz have been charged with manufacturing meth in the presence of minors and two counts of possession of precursors. Police said Sawma and Eicholtz, who live together at 266 32nd St. NW, Apt. 2, were manufacturing meth in the presence of a 3-year-old child.
In an unrelated case, 28-year-old Ryan W. Lee, of Hiawatha, is accused of manufacturing meth, second-degree theft, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, possession of meth and possession of marijuana. According to the Linn County attorney's office, Lee manufactured meth at 845 Brandon Ave. Unit 35 on Sept. 29. Lee is also accused of being in possession of a stolen vehicle, being in possession of meth and marijuana and fleeing from officers at the time of their arrest, resulting in bodily injury to an officer.
