Iowa City police investigating convenience store robbery

IOWA CITY - An Iowa City convenience store was robbed by a man carrying a knife late Tuesday night.
According to the Iowa City Police Department, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Kum & Go, 955 Mormon Trek Blvd., at 11:27 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the suspect entered the store, pulled a knife and demanded cash. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10”, weighing 175 pounds and wearing all black clothing, including a ski mask. The robbery remains under investigation.
