Police: Man posted nude photos at IMU

IOWA CITY - A Coralville man is accused of posting nude photos of a woman around the Iowa Memorial Union.

According to a University of Iowa Department of Public Safety complaint, sometime on Oct. 15, 65-year-old Charles L. Myers entered the IMU on the University of Iowa campus and posted fliers depicting nude photos of a woman, her contact and work address information and sexually explicit language.

Police said the fliers were posted in public areas and at the same location where one of the victim's friends work. The victim's friend discovered the fliers, helped to take them down and notified the victim about their existence, police said.

The victim told police she felt embarrassed and felt threatened my Myers' actions. A protective order against Myers was sought Oct. 17.

Myers has been arrested and faces charges of third-degree harassment and violation of parole.
