TIFFIN - Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash outside of Tiffin Wednesday morning.
According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, Jason D. Morton, 30, of Iowa City, and Carlos F. Pocasangre, 47, of Oxford, were westbound on Highway 6 around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. Troopers said Morton was following Pocasangre too closely and rear-ended him near Half Moon Avenue. Morton then lost control and hit a third vehicle - driven by 54-year-old Dan Durbala, of Blairstown - head on.
Both Morton and Durbala were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics via ambulance. The crash remains under investigation.
