Robbery reported near University of Northern Iowa campus

CEDAR FALLS - Cedar Falls police are investigating an alleged robbery near the University of Northern Iowa campus.
Officers responded to the intersection of University Avenue and College Street around 2:30 a.m. Monday for a report of a robbery. Police said the victim reported he was robbed by two men and two women and was hit on the head with a golf club during the robbery. He was taken to Sartori Hospital via ambulance to be treated for injuries to his head.
The suspects are believed to have fled the area on foot. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
