Juvenile faces weapons charge for discharging gun

CENTRAL CITY - A juvenile could face prison time for discharging a gun near a group of people this weekend.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, 17-year-old Riley M. Gonzales-Neff, of Marion, was identified by witnesses as the subject who fired a gun near a group of people at Paris Bridge on May 22.
Authorities said Gonzales-Neff also threatened several witnesses with the gun before he fired it.
Gonzales-Neff has been arrested and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
