Garrison man arrested after Benton County chase

VINTON - A Garrison man faces numerous charges after a chase Monday evening.
Benton County Sheriff Randy Forsyth said a deputy attempted to pull over 24-year-old Quentin J. McNeal at 5:45 p.m. Monday in Vinton.
Authorities said McNeal fled west out of Vinton toward Garrison before reversing back toward Vinton. The pursuit took deputies on gravel roads and Highway 218.
McNeal was finally taken into custody without incident at G Avenue and First Street in Vinton, Forsyth said. He was arrested and faces charges of eluding, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, driving while suspended or revoked, violation of probation and speeding.
