Marion teens face charges for Solon car burglaries

SOLON - Three Marion men faces multiple charges for a rash of vehicle burglaries in Solon last month.
According to Johnson County Sheriff's Office criminal complaints, numerous vehicle burglaries were reported in and around Solon on Sept. 21. The victims reported their vehicles had been entered. Victims reported missing credit cards and one told deputies a gun and an ammunition clip was stolen.
Authorities said the suspects were later recorded on video using the stolen credit cards at various businesses and admitted during an interview to stealing from the vehicles. The stolen gun was also recovered, according to the sheriff's office.
As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Kain A. Cortez, 19-year-old Jordan C. Lehman and 18-year-old Zachary R. Ross each face one count of second-degree theft, a Class D felony; and seven counts of third-degree burglary, an aggravated misdemeanor.
