Iowa City officials seek dog they say bit man

IOWA CITY - Iowa City Animal Services is looking for a dog that officials say bit a man last week.
According to a news release, the bite happened around 2 p.m. on Aug. 25 in the 2400 block of Lakeside Drive. Authorities said a man got out of a vehicle and was charged and bitten by a large brindle boxer mix with black and brown stripes.
Animal Services is seeking information on the dog's rabies vaccination and would like to speak with the dog's owner. Anyone with information on the dog's owner is asked to call Animal Services at (319) 356-5295, extension 7, or the Iowa City Police Department at (319) 356-6800.
