CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids police made an arrest this week in connection with a January robbery.
Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said Austin J.D. Foster, 22, of Cedar Rapids, was picked up Tuesday morning on a warrant for first-degree robbery.
Foster is accused of committing a robbery around 4 p.m. on Jan. 1 at 6014 Dean Road SW. Police said a man was inside his apartment and responded to a knock on the door. When he answered, Foster allegedly entered the apartment, assaulted the man and stole some of his belongings.
Buelow said the investigation into the case is ongoing.
First-degree robbery is a felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
