Marion home sustains heavy fire damage

MARION - A Marion home sustained considerable fire damage Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
Marion Deputy Fire Marshal Shawn Fluharty said crews were called to 966 13th St. at 2:25 a.m. for a report of a structure fire. Fluharty said all of the occupants and one cat were able to get out of the house, but the home sustained 'heavy, heavy fire damage.”
The American Red Cross responded to help assist the displaced occupants, Fluharty said.
No one was injured in the fire, which remains under investigation.
