Tama County crash kills Ottumwa woman

TAMA COUNTY - An Ottumwa woman died in a head-on crash in Tama County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Sandra M. Morrow, 29, was northbound on Highway 21 south of 68th Street near Elberon around 3:43 p.m. when - for unknown reasons - she crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
Morrow was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not injured, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
