Cedar Rapids man accused of stabbing man in head and neck

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of stabbing another man this past weekend.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 37-year-old Tramond E. Franklin assaulted a man at 3219 Carriage Drive SW. During that assault, Franklin allegedly stabbed the man three times in the head and back, authorities said.
Franklin was arrested and charged with one count of willful injury, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
