Iowa City police participating in crisis center food drive

IOWA CITY - Three canned goods can get you a free Bruegger's bagel this month, thanks to a food drive that will benefit the Johnson County Crisis Center.
The Iowa City Police Department announced on Friday it is partnering with Bruegger's and FASTRAC to collect food for the crisis center Nov. 8-21. Anyone who brings three cans of food into Bruegger's will receive a free bagel with cream cheese.
The police department said they are participating in this food drive in order to provide food and support to families in need during the holiday season.
