UPDATE: Lightning sparks fire at North Liberty home

NORTH LIBERTY - Authorities said lightning was to blame for a North Liberty house fire Monday morning.
According to the North Liberty Fire Department, crews were called to 330 Locust Drive at 9:55 a.m. for a report of a home struck by lightning. Responding crews found fire in the roof line of the home and put it out within four minutes of arriving, officials said.
The fire department has not yet determined the extent of the damage, but the homeowners were not displaced.
North Liberty police, the Solon and Coralville fire departments and the Johnson County Ambulance Service also responded. There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters.
