Cedar Rapids woman accused of slashing man’s throat with knife

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids woman is accused of slashing a man's throat at her home.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, Cedar Rapids police were called to 118 16th St. NE on March 10 for a report of a disturbance. There, officers learned that 56-year-old Redonda F. Roundtree had slashed a man's throat with a knife. The man suffered a 5-inch cut, authorities said.
Roundtree was arrested and has been charged with willful injury causing bodily injury, a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
