Cedar Rapids man accused of sexually abusing children

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids man is accused of sexually abusing two underage girls.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint, between January 1, 2011 and May 1, 2014, Kobey R. Pohlman committed sex acts on two girls under the age of 12 on multiple occasions. Pohlman admitted to his actions during an interview with police, according to the criminal complaint.
Pohlman faces two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony. If convicted, Pohlman faces a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison.
