CEDAR RAPIDS - An Urbana man faces numerous charges after police discovered drugs during a traffic stop.
Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said officers pulled over 26-year-old Andrew M. Pillard at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 6800 block of Sixth Street SW after he was observed driving on the wrong side of the road. Police said Pillard was suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or both.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint, Pillard was found to be in possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He now faces charges of operating under the influence, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
