Cedar Rapids man accused of abusing 12-year-old girl

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint, the victim gave a 'clear, detailed” account to investigators in which she described sex acts performed by Timothy M. Holt on her. The criminal complaint also states that the victim told investigators she accompanied Holt to a store where he purchased lotion and oil that he used on her during the incidents.
Investigators were able to review evidence from the store that corroborated the girl's account, the complaint states.
Holt now faces charges of third-degree sexual abuse and lascivious acts with a child.
