Iowa City police seeking public’s help in burglary and arson case

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police are seeking the public's help in an ongoing arson and burglary investigation.
According to police, a car parked in the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp, 210 S. Dubuque St., was burglarized and set on fire on Aug. 2. Police are looking for a man seen on security camera footage running from the parking ramp.
Police have released an image of the man - who they identified as a person of interest in the case - and are asking for information in identifying him. Anyone with information is asked to call the Iowa City Police Department at (319) 356-5293.
Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information also can call CrimeStoppers at (319) 358-8477.
