Coralville man faces prostitution charge

CORALVILLE — A Coralville man faces a prostitution charge after police said he admitted to paying a woman to have sex with her.
According to a Coralville police criminal complaint, around 3 a.m. Friday, an officer encountered a drunk woman laying in front of Kum & Go, 205 Second St. Police said the woman refused to speak with the officer.
The officer spoke with a man who was standing beside her, 66-year-old Douglas M. Winslow. Police said Winslow admitted to paying the woman $120 for sex before she passed out.
Winslow was arrested and faces one count of prostitution, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in prison.
