TIFFIN - Police arrested multiple people Thursday after a Tiffin woman received a shipment of marijuana in the mail and returned it to her home.
According to criminal complaints, on Thursday, 23-year-old Alisa S. Anderson, of 467 Iris Court in Tiffin, received a package from San Francisco containing marijuana. Police said the package was addressed to Anderson and she picked it up at the post office.
After Anderson picked up the package, authorities executed a search warrant at her home and found a large amount of marijuana, as well as packaging materials, digital scales and a large amount of cash.
Police said they found a large amount of marijuana in the bedroom of a man who lived at the home, 42-year-old Torrenzo M. Green.
Keonte A. Martin, 21, address unknown, was arrested at the home when police found a loaded handgun tucked inside his waistband. Police said Martin also gave officers a fake name and date of birth.
Anderson and Green each face charges of controlled substance violation and Iowa drug tax stamp violation, both Class D felonies. Martin faces charges of carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor; and interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor.
