You don't really need us to tell you about the 1980s. You probably have experts right at home.
Who do you know who is at least 40 years old? They almost definitely remember the '80s - and probably even have the embarrassing photos to prove it. Ask if you can interview them, then write down their responses to the questions below.
Finish your story by drawing a picture of what they looked like in the '80s (big hair and poofy sleeves, perhaps?). When you're done, have an adult help you share it with us at kids@thegazette.com.
Question:
What did you look like in the 1980s? What was different about you then compared to now?
Q:
What was your favorite music? Why did you like it?
Q:
Did your parents like the same stuff you did? How do you know?
Q:
What did you do all day without the internet?
Believe it or not, these were sweet back in the 1980s.
