Iowans raised concerns over record-high egg prices, sweeping reciprocal tariffs on U.S. imports and cuts to the Social Security Administration during a telephone town hall Wednesday evening hosted by Iowa Republican U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson.
Hinson announced the town hall Tuesday on her official Facebook page, and said she will provide an update on her work in Congress and answer questions.

As Democrats seek to make the right to contraception an election issue amid a growing partisan clash over reproductive rights, Iowa Republicans U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson and U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst are focusing attention on their efforts to increase birth control options for women in rural Iowa.
In other campaign news, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday endorsed Iowa’s Ashley Hinson.
