According to the department’s Facebook page, officers have responded to four robberies in the last two weeks. The robberies have occurred in apartment complexes in an area bordered by 20th and 22nd avenues and 9th and 10th streets. Additionally, police said the victims have often been delivery drivers from local restaurants.

The suspect is described as a black man, 18-21 years old, dressed all in black and occasionally wearing a bandanna over his face. A handgun was displayed in each of the four robberies, police said.

Police ask that anyone who sees someone matching this description, or suspicious activity in the area in general, to call the police department at 248-1800 or 911 if it’s an emergency.
