Youth wrestling clinic to be held before Northwestern dual

University of Iowa Wrestling announced Monday that the Iowa Elite Chevy Youth Wrestling Clinic will be held Jan. 15 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. The wrestling clinic for ages 7 to 13 will be from 11 a.m. to noon before the Hawkeyes' Big Ten dual against Northwestern scheduled for 1 p.m.
The clinic is free with doors opening at 10 a.m.
Iowa fans are being urged to participate in the "Be Bold, Wear Gold" for the dual against the Wildcats.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The annual Iowa Elite Chevy Youth Wrestling Clinic will be held Jan. 15 on Mediacom Mat inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena prior to the Iowa-Northwestern dual. Doors open at 10 a.m. for the clinic, which runs from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Youth ages 7-13 are eligible to participate in the clinic.
The clinic is free, but participants must pre-register at hawkeyesports.com. Enrollment is limited to the first 250 pre-registered participants. For questions regarding the clinic, please call the University of Iowa Sports Marketing office at 319-335-9431.
The Iowa-Northwestern dual begins at 1 p.m. Fans are encouraged to "Be Bold, Wear Gold" to the event.
