TV announced for Olympic Wrestling Trials

Television coverage of the 2012 Olympic Team Trials was announced Wednesday, including television schedule for the USA Wrestling Olympic Team Trials set for April 21-22 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
The men's and women's Freestyle and Greco-Roman events are scheduled to be aired on NBC Sports Network, formally VERSUS, on a next-day tape-delay format. Action on Saturday, April 21 will be broadcast Sunday, April 22 with that day's competition aired Monday, April 23.

NBC SPORTS COVERAGE OF OLYMPIC TRIALS BEGINS IN IOWA CITY
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The United States Olympic Committee and the NBC Sports Group announced today that its coverage of the 2012 Olympic Team Trials will begin April 22 in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Olympic Team Trials for wrestling, to be held at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on April 21-22, will air on the NBC Sports Network on a next-day tape delay. The Saturday, April 21 competition will air Sunday, April 22 from 3-6 p.m. (CT). The Sunday, April 22 competition will air from 2-5 p.m. (CT) on Monday, April 23.
A record 67½ hours of event coverage - 43 on NBC Sports Network and 24½ on NBC - will feature 10 sports, including live primetime coverage of trials for diving, swimming, gymnastics and track & field, as well as events for water polo and field hockey. The 67½ hours of coverage on NBC and NBC Sports Network marks the most ever for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, topping the 49 hours of trials coverage in 2008 and 40½ hours in 2004. Additionally, NBC Sports Network and Universal Sports will re-air a combined 117 hours of trials coverage (74 hours on NBC Sports Network and 43 hours on Universal Sports).
